I am currently working on several projects, including the new paintings which are for exhibition next year, and also my design for Sequoia Tees in Amsterdam which is a most exciting project for me.

I shall continue with the updating of my Selected Works in Private Collections Gallery in a few days and I will also be updating my collection of Saatchi Prints for sale.

Also my latest experiment in sound and video is now being uploaded to YouTube, more details of all of the above and more to follow ……

Initially I am concentrating on paintings which are now in collections, these prints are of the highest quality and all orders are fulfilled by Saatchi.

The first 21 are now available and more will be added to the catalogue over the coming weeks.

Two years ago my website went through a complete overhaul and after much discussion with my new web designer  regarding the structure and layout of the site a decision was made to split the Galleries into Paintings and Prints, thereby dispensing with the category of works previously sold.

A few of you immediately told me that you missed this feature, and would like to see it re-introduced, and over time I seem to be getting ever more requests to see some of these paintings.  You will be glad to know that I have now taken heed of your requests and I have combined work for sale into the one gallery and I am in the process of re-instating the ” Selected Works in Private Collections” gallery.

As previously, it will be “Selected Works”, and will not include  “all”  of the sold works, and please note that if a painting or a screenprint that you own has not been included it does not mean that I feel it is of any less importance.

I might also add that this will take me some time to bring up to date as I will be adding to it gradually so please check back regularly.

August was a very busy month, it came and went so quickly, and during which I sent my first work to Scotland, sold some more in Cornwall, and 2 more paintings have gone off to London. I was even talked into parting with “388.63” which I had decided to keep for myself and although I miss it already I am delighted that it has gone to a good home.

My work for charities continues this month with two small paintings almost completed for Hop Skip and Jump, a Kingswood centre for children with special needs, these will be sold along with work from other artists at a special invitation only exhibition at The Bristol Gallery later this year. I also have two paintings being sold at a Private Salon exhibtion in Angus to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

I have updated the Galleries on the site and the latest two paintings have been added to the Paintings Gallery and new work has now been started and is well under way for exhibition next year.

Meanwhile I am continuing to experiment with sound and video and my latest piece has just been submitted to be entered in the New Cinema and Contemporary Art Exhibition to be held in Paris at the Centre Pompidou later this year.

A video and soundtrack composed to mark my recent visit to New York.

Shot on a drive around the centre of New York and Times Square during the night, the video has been heavily processed and it is a complement to my previous video work “La Nacional Exhibition” and it features a slightly more upbeat soundtrack.

I have received mentions from Cornwall Today in the past but I am particularly delighted to be included in the “Postcard” feature of this excellent magazine, which has been a longtime favourite of mine.  A must for lovers of Cornwall and all things Cornish.
