Studio News from the Cornish Studio of British Art Modernist ~ Chris Billington
The latest Studio News. Following on from my recently well received ‘2012 ~ Signs, Secrets & Symbols’ exhibition at The ARThouse Gallery in Bournemouth I am once again very busy in my studio, engaged in some exciting new projects.
My recently completed ‘Sterren ~ A Star For Cornwall’ which was painted for the Hall For Cornwall’s Carousel Cornwall is now at the framers and will be exhibited at the HFC Assembly Room on Private View on Friday 24 August and then will go on public display from Tuesday 28 August until Sunday 2 September. BIG BANG! my third exclusive piece for Sequoia Tees will be making it’s debut on Thursday 16 August and is a continuation of my previous style for the company.
I am currently working on something for exhibition in Berlin later in the year, this will be my second time in Berlin, and in the coming week I shall be starting work on ‘Gyllyngvase XV’ and also the first paintings for my Christmas Exhibition.
